This definitely did not live up to Hilton standards. Arriving into our room, we were greeted by drapes that had been shredded by someone (see picture). There was pink ice cream hardened on the carpeted stairway that no one had addressed. So we had to haul all of it up the stairs with no one to assist us (my husband had major surgery a little over 6 weeks ago and should not have been lifting these heavy things).
Heading into the hotel, a gentleman informed me that someone’s lovely child had pulled the fire alarm and the elevators wouldn’t work. We had some valuable items in our car that needed to come into the hotel with us and I loaded up the cart to take them into our room. This hotel was rated pretty well so we figured it was a decent place to stay. Since we are Diamond members of Hilton, we try to stay at a Hilton family hotel. We spent the night there while traveling home from vacation.
